Texas Swim Academy features programs and swim lessons for all kinds of students, from those just beginning to swim, to advanced swimmers, swim team and triathlon participants. Here is a closer look at our programs to find the right one for your child:

Survival Swim is a unique style of baby swim lessons that provides very young children the skills necessary to survive in the water. Children begin learning to be more comfortable and confident in the water. Instruction progresses to include roll-back-to-float technique and transition to swimming stroke development.

Stroke Development is a step-by-step regimen of swim lessons that builds proficiency, self esteem, and confidence in the water. Six levels of classes are available, based on age, maturity, strength, coordination, and current swimming skill level. The program goal is to create true independence in the water.

Adaptive Aquatics is a special and unique swim program for autism spectrum children and those with special needs. The program goal is to advance students from safety and confidence in the water, to enjoyment of swimming and water play. Classes provide a comfortable, flexible, and patient environment to build skills.

Group Swim Lessons provide an opportunity for developing swimmers to grow their skills, and for advanced swimmers to work on technique and individual swimming strokes. Class sizes are small, to ensure each student has ample time to work with the instructor.

Pre-Competition Swim Class offers a variety of swim sets and drills, all designed to help students build endurance, learn new swimming strokes, and master swim technique. Includes practice with flip-turns, with a goal of improving individual times. Perfect for supplemental swim team practice, intermediate and advanced classes available.

NEW! Triathlon Training programs offer the best quality instruction and coaching for triathletes or students interested in training for their first triathlon event. Texas Swim Academy has partnered with Katy premier triathlon training team, the Fury Tri Team, to offer a variety of programs that suit different age and skill levels. Students can learn basic fundamentals of transitioning between each leg to advancing their current skills of swimming, biking, and running. This program is suitable for ages 5 – 14 and begins on January 10, 2015.

Adult Lessons range from beginner to advanced swim stroke development and swim team training. Private and group lessons are available, instruction is tailored to each student’s individual needs.
