Swim teams provide swimmers the opportunity to improve their swimming skills, while experiencing the fun sportsmanship and competition can provide. Texas Swim Academy is proud to sponsor local swim teams and organizations in the Katy and Houston areas.
Pine Mill Ranch Rays Swim Team
Pine Mill Ranch Rays Swim Team is comprised of approximately 180 swimmers from Pine Mill Ranch, Silver Ranch, Southwest Cinco Ranch and other nearby neighborhoods. With skill levels ranging from beginner to advance, they want all swimmers to experience the joy of swimming, the fun in competition, and the value of volunteering.
Cinco Ranch Swim Teams
Cinco Ranch Swim Team serves youth ages 4-18 residing within the Cinco Ranch I homeowner’s association. Comprised of 4 swim teams: Greenway Village,Highland Park, North Lake, and South Ranch their purpose is comprised of four main goals.
- Provide instruction and training in order to develop and improve their individual capabilities in the sport of swimming
- Host swim meets in which all members participate to gain a sense of accomplishment
- Promote and develop good sportsmanship
- Advance the sport of organized swimming through qualified educational and competitive events
West Houston Aquatic League of Katy (WHALe)
West Houston Aquatic League of Katy (WHALe) is a recreational summer league looking to provide local youth with the opportunity to participate in organized swimming. Started in 1985 with only 8 teams, it has grown to 40 teams and more than 4,000 swimmers.
As non-profit organizations, local swim teams and clubs rely on the support from community minded businesses. Texas Swim Academy is proud to lead by example with financial and facility use contributions.
ABOUT THE COMPANY
Texas Swim Academy is a state-of-the-art swimming facility offering water safety, survival swim, and kids swimming lessons in Katy, Texas. Owners Kathleen and Bruce McMordie, alongside our certified staff, help parents introduce children to water at an early age through the Infant Survival Swim Program , teaching life-saving techniques and basic swimming skills.
Our Stroke Development Program offers six different levels to help students progress in their swimming skills at his or her own pace.
