Homeschool Physical Education Swim Classes in Katy, Houston, Fulshear, Cypress, & Surrounding Areas

Due to COVID-19 precautions, we are not currently offering group lessons or homeschool programs. We plan on adding them back as soon as possible.

Staying active is a healthy part of every child’s life. Texas Swim Academy’s new program, Homeschool P.E., is a homeschool physical education swim program that is specifically designed to establish a foundation for physical fitness, flexibility, and fun. This program meets two days per week for 1-hour long sessions. Students will have a dry land warm-up followed by time in the pool. Students will be introduced to the fundamentals of stroke technique while gaining strength, endurance, and confidence. This is not a skill acquisition class, but one that builds strength and endurance while having the opportunity to meet new friends and build positive social skills.

Our program combines flexibility and fun with a curriculum taught by friendly and professional coaches to help your child build a foundation for a healthy mind and body. This program will be held all year long in the facility’s 20-meter indoor, heated pool.  

Sessions:

Monday/Wednesday 1 PM – 2 PM
or
Tuesday/Thursday 1 PM – 2 PM

Requirements:

Minimum age of 7. Students must be able to hold a float and swim 4 lengths of the pool independently with breath control. The registration packet must be completed before scheduling the assessment. A five-minute assessment of skills will be required for newly enrolled swimmers. There is no charge for this service. All assessments are scheduled by appointment only and can be booked Monday through Thursday at 1 PM. Any additional individual lessons will be charged at the TSA private lesson rate.

Additional Information:

  • No makeup classes
  • No substitutions (sibling cannot replace student enrolled)
  • Attendance will be taken
  • Open only for homeschool students
  • A credit card (Visa, Discover, or Mastercard) must be placed on file for an automatic draft which will take place on the 1st of each month.
  • Must finish out the month to withdraw
  • All TSA Policy and Procedures apply
