Our Academy
Swim School for Infants, Children, & Adults in Katy, Houston, Fulshear, Cypress, & Surrounding Areas
Early swim lessons set a positive foundation towards a lifetime of participation in a variety of water sports and aquatic adventures. Our goal at Texas Swim Academy is to provide the families in Katy and the greater Houston area access to a result-oriented swimming program. We will advance students from water safety to confident water enjoyment.
Teaching Water Safety Skills in Katy & Houston
We accomplish these goals with intensive in-water training by Certified Survival Swim Specialists and TSA-trained stroke development instructors. Our methods are effective due to the consistency and repetitive teachings we provide.
Your child is only as safe around the water as their skills allow them to be. We believe every child should learn water safety at a young age, and then build upon those valuable skills. Our program allows children to learn lifesaving swim skills in weeks, not years.
We are a year-round indoor facility. We have five 12 x 12 pools for private survival swim lessons and a 30 x 60 pool for stroke development. Our pools are heated and kept at 88-90 degrees in order to keep students comfortable.
Meet Bruce & Kathleen, Owners of Texas Swim Academy
We started the dream of opening an aquatics safety academy eight years ago, and we are proud to open our doors to you. Our passion for water safety is the driving force in all we do. After years spent teaching children to swim in our own backyard pool, we were fortunate to open a state-of-the-art facility that now enables so many more children to learn to swim. We staff only the best to teach our students proper swim safety. We don’t see ourselves as a swim club; we are a professional academy that will produce not only safe swimmers but proper stroke development for competitive swimming.
We know that we are giving something back to the people of Katy, Houston, and surrounding communities when we hear someone tell us that their child has fallen into the water and saved his own life by floating or swimming to the edge. It is a priceless gift that we hope to give for years to come.
