As many parents and students know, all of us at Texas Swim Academy strive to not only teach students how to swim, but teach essential water safety survival skills that save lives. We’re so proud to announce that Texas Swim Academy is now a Campaign Safety Partner (CSP) for Pool Safely, the U.S. Consumer Safety Commission (CPSC) national public educational campaign to save lives in pools and spas. This nationally recognized campaign is dedicated to building safer environments and communities, especially for children, when it comes to being in and around water. Pool Safely seeks nationally recognized organizations with established networks and a proven track record for managing health and safety campaigns to partner with and help share their important information and resources regarding water safety, drowning prevention, and drain entrapment. We are so honored to be a part of this campaign and excited to distribute essential information, materials, and resources our network of our proud parents and bright students in the Katy and Houston areas.

About the Pool Safely Campaign

Since its inception in 2010, partners have been a critical part of Pool Safely’s effort to increase awareness of water safety, drowning prevention, and drain entrapment nationwide. Campaign Safety Partners (CSPs) have also played a significant role in the success of the campaign’s Pool Safely Pledge, a commitment to water safety steps for every adult and child in America. The Pledge, launched in May 2014, encourages partners to share the Pledge with their members and communities. Over the last year, Pool Safely partners have helped the campaign generate more than 4,000 Pledge signatures across the United States within a five-month period.

Beginning now and throughout the swimming season this year, parents and students can look out for valuable water safety and drowning prevention resources on the Texas Swim Academy website, social media, and blog site. With this partnership, we hope to bring the importance of water safety and drowning prevention to the surface and ensure the safety and well being of our students and our local community.
