You know the phrase — “Too much of a good thing.” But is there ever really too much of a good thing, especially when it comes to learning how to swim? To us, the answer will always be no. Learning how to properly swim is a life-saving skill that your child can never have too much of, and at Texas Swim Academy, we’re here to make the most of year-round swimming lessons.

Fun Fridays

Even as the weather changes outside, you can always count on Texas Swim Academy to keep things fun inside. Our Fun Fridays recently launched, and we’re excited to have you be a part of it.

Every Friday, now through Memorial Day 2019, from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., the Texas Swim Academy pools open up to all currently enrolled students to enjoy a fun family night in the water. Whether you want your kids to continue practicing their skills or just have some fun together away from the electronics, it’s a great opportunity to spend some family time together and take a break after a long week. There’s no age limit to our Fun Fridays. A parent is required to be in the pool with the child.

The Big Reveal

Not only do year-round lessons allow for skill retention, they also keep the kids engaged after school and help improve their overall health. But sometimes kids just like to show off, and after continuing to practice their skill set throughout the rest of the year, they’ll have that opportunity with their friends come summer time.

Let’s set goals together with your child, whether big or small, and encourage them to work on their stroke development and proper swim techniques through year-round swimming lessons. Kids thrive off accomplishment, and sharing that accomplishment with others provides a sense of accomplishment. Few things can be more rewarding to a child then showcasing their new, or improved, skills in front of their friends and being confident in the water.

At Texas Swim Academy, we’re dedicated to giving your children the tools they need to not only survive, but thrive, in the water. Investing in your child’s well being with year-round swimming lessons is a gift they’ll take with them throughout their life. It’s fun, it’s healthy, and it’s good for the mind.
